Indicators and key areas of livestock sectors of regions of Ukraine

Abstract

Introduction.The main reason of the decline in livestock and livestock production is the loss-making of the field for many years. With the introduction of state support in 2004-2013 livestock has generally become profitable. The growth of production of many industries could be observed.

The method (methodology). We have carefully considered and analyzed every branch of animal husbandry. The indicators of branch development are defined.

Results.  We have come to the following conclusion: it is imposibble to achieve positive results in the development and rational functioning of the livestock industry without a radical integrated program. It should take into account the strategy and tactics of the organization of the field in contemporary conditions of global economy.

Scope of the results. Proposals for systematic measures to ensure expanded reproduction of livestock are universal and can be applied in any agricultural enterprise of every region of Ukraine.
