Volodymyr Mykolayovych Orel

Abstract

The article is devoted to modern intensive pig farming, which is qualitatively changing the nature of work in the main production, the operator is gradually  turning into the industrial worker. Such a worker has a narrow specialization which is associated with servicing of specific group of animals and with the use of high-tech equipment. The peculiarity of the modern means of production is the high level of process automation, allowing the operator to concentrate on serving animals. However, a number of technological operations (feeding, maintenance of microclimate, lighting, etc.) requires from the operator knowledge of the simplest configuration and regulation of the equipment. Industrial pig production is streamed from the harsh cycles of individual processes, high intensity of work.
