Prediction of food enterprises activity under risk

Abstract


Introduction.  Business activity of a company under uncertainty and risk is considered in the article. The food industry enterprises as well as the enterprises of other spheres experience the significant macroeconomic impact of external factors. Such factors can greatly affect internal plans and forecasts. Hence, the quantitative assessment of macroeconomic factors that influences the industry will facilitate the development of forecasts and plans at the microeconomic level.

Goal. Thepurposeofthearticleisto develop the model of macroeconomic factors impact  on sales volume of the food industry.

The Methods. Such techniques as trend analysis, correlation and regression analysis and modeling, use of formalized, graphical research method are used in the article.

Results. The key factors that influence the sales volume of food industry are proposed. The verification of their applicability in the model is carried out. The linear regression model of macroeconomic factors on food industry sales volume is developed. The forecast of industry sales volume is made up to 2020.
