Information and analytical factor of environmental safety in agrarian economy sector

Abstract

Introduction. Under the present conditions of agricultural natural management, there is an objective need to change the strategy of development of the agricultural sector taking into account environmental requirements.  In connection with the previous fact the priority task is to develop appropriate management tools for ensuring environmental safety. Thus, an efficient and reasoned decision of challenges for the management of environmental safety is to solve such task through successful operating system of information and analytical support.

Goal. The aim of the article is a theoretical and methodological substantiation of information and analytical component of ensuring environmental safety in the agricultural sector. It should be done in order to determine the most promising ways and methods of reasoned optimal managerial decisions in this area.

The method (methodology). Methodological and theoretical foundations of work are based on system and structural and dialectical method of cognition of ecological and economic effects, and on the integrated approach to its analysis, modern achievements of domestic and foreign scientists in the field of environmental safety.

The results. This paper deals with conditions for the implementation of information and analytical factor of ensuring environmental safety in the agricultural sector, as a system of interrelations, including the formation process of information about the impact of agricultural producers on the state of agro-ecosystems, dissemination of given information, the definition of its role in implementing of environmental policy. The author substantiates the need to ensure an optimality of storage and application of information resources, in view of the current trend of information technology development with creation and operation of information systems. The author givesthe system of analytical assessment of environmental safety level in the agricultural sector, which may be part of the ecological passport. That is, except evaluation of ecological compatibility of production technologies and products, it allows to consider combination and interdependence of environmental factors, to determine specific reasons that have led to the obtained evaluation result.
