Evaluation of the innovation development of the engineering enterprises: comprehensive approach

Introduction. We have defined the approaches to the improvement of methods of estimation of innovative development of enterprise. These approaches  allow to solve the problem of uncertainty and underestimation of innovative results in practice of innovative activity of modern domestic enterprises. Solution of the problems of raising the level of innovation development of machine-building enterprises is primarily connected with research of the major success factors that can help you make comprehensive assessment of innovation activity in the competitive environment.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to construct a logical scheme of testing of innovation development of machine-building enterprises in competitive environment for determining the integral indicators according to the separate groups of components with the objective to obtain realistic assessment of the actual situation on machine building companies.

Method (methodology). The results of the analysis of existing methods and approaches to the investigation of innovation show that a great number of approaches consider this category as a set of specific indicators which can be combined into a single group. As a result the groups of indicators are systematized. Then, they  are combined into one integral index  by defined components which can be called the basis of innovative research of machine-building enterprises.

Results. The proposed approach is appropriate for the formation of a single database tools which can test the innovative actions in the company. This base is a combination of techniques of application of specific indicators of innovation estimation by any direction of results evaluation starting from the introduction of innovations at the enterprise (technical and economic, resources, marketing direction evaluation etc.) and reception of the expert poll.
