Strategic role of ecologistics in business development in the conditions of deepening of ecological crisis in Ukraine

Abstract

The article proposes the characteristics of modern management requirements in conditions of deepening the global environmental crisis and the growing gap between environmental development goals and their resource provision. The features of environmental policy in Ukraine in terms of European integration processes are determined. It has been proven the urgency of forming a systemic nature of management decisions at different levels of economic management for the purpose of reducing the negative environmental impact. The role of logistics in the strategic development of the company and in achievement its economic, social and environmental objectives is defined. The researches have detected close relationships at different levels of economic management in the implementation of energy-saving technologies in the sphere of supply, production and distribution, which requires the analysis of complex logistics processes in Ukraine. The role of environmental information and environmental knowledge as a special resource in the innovation economy is emphasized. With the help of regression analysis methods we have built the trends that reflect the dynamics of accumulation of waste from business enterprises and volume of their utilization for the period from 1994 till 2014. The influence of the political and legal environment on the activities of foreign and domestic lighting enterprises is determined. The features of implementation of ecological approach into logistics and new approaches to evaluation of the quality of the product portfolio for lighting companies are found out. The content characteristics of ecologistics as a new business philosophy is considered and its practical value in various areas of the company is determined. The regression models that illustrate the rate of change of lighting performance of joint stock company "Iskra" has been built. We have identified causes of the worsening of its financial and economic performance in terms of deepening of financial crisis in the country and the devaluation of the national currency. The factors of external and internal nature and their impact on the process of restructuring of lighting companies on the basis of the concept of ecologistics are determined. Ecologistics is regarded as the organic component of the overall development strategy. A model of factor interaction in the process of restructuring of lighting enterpriseson the principles of ecologistics is constructed.
