Development features of labor market in the context of globalization
Abstract
Introduction. Formation of qualitative human resources is the priority task of domestic labor market in the epoch of globalization, intellectualization and rapid distribution of innovative production technologies. The development of the Global Knowledge Economy foresees the usage of workers’ constructive knowledge. That will provide winning and maintaining of a company’s sustainable competitive position in a dynamic competitive environment. This fact proves the actuality of the research concerning interconnection of globalization and the labor market, personified in human resources.
Purpose. The aim of the article is to determine functional interconnection of globalization and the labor market and to characterize factors of telework influence on society, countries, firms and individuals.
The method (methodology). The following methods have been used in this research: method of analysis and synthesis (to determine of globalization characteristics), method of comparison (to study the distant employment), method of situational approach (to determine the direction of globalization influence on the labor market), abstract and logical method (to form the research conclusions).
Results. Characteristic features of globalization are determined. Tendencies and regularities of labor market under globalization influence are examined. Expected changes in structure and dynamics of employment in Ukraine are analyzed. Factors of telework influence on society, countries, firms and individuals are determined. Positive and negative aspects of globalization influence on labor market are clarified. Directions of domestic labor market adaptation to globalization conditions are formulated. Directions of domestic labor market adaptation to conditions of globalization are formulated.
