Interdependence of parameters of the health services enterprises development in Ukraine

Abstract

Introduction.  The development of the sphere of the health services is crucial in formation the social infrastructure of society.  However, the functioning of health services enterprises in terms of transformation of the existing Semashko model due to the market requirements while taking into consideration the significant volume of modern challenges and threats have identified the need to change organizational and economic mechanism of enterprises.  Necessary condition of such transformation grounding is the determination of the functional dependence of quantitative parameters of the health services enterprises idevelopment on the volume of services provided by them, and objectively existing demographic trends.

Purpose.  The goal of the article is to determine the relationship between quantitative characteristics of the provision of medical services to Ukrainians by relevant institutions and their number.

The method (methodology).  The following methods are used in this research: method of correlation and regression analysis (to determine the system of relationships between indicators of health services enterprises, the volume of health services, population) method of adispersion analysis (to confirm the detected patterns), method of construction (to construct the framework of identified dependencies with the lags), method of differential calculus (to determine the optimal number of enterprises in the health services)

Results.  With a high level of reliability it has been proved the existence of functional dependence of the population on the number of health services enterprises and the number of services which they provide.  Thescan of temporal causal relationships between indicators of volume of health services and population of Ukraine with regard to a log has been done.  It has been determined the fact that there is a  significantly exceeded number of outpatient clinics taking into consideration the criteria of zero population growth.
