Management of enterprise competitive advantages

Introduction. Nowadays there is an increasing competition in all sectors of the economy, and therefore the question of formation of competitive advantages has become the subject of research at the levels of theory and practice.

Only those companies that systematically work on the formation of competitive advantagescan monitor the situation on the market.Due to the fact that this didection requires application of significant resources, it has to be logically grounded and needs effective management.

Purpose. The main objective of this work is to study the theoretical and methodological approaches to the management of competitive advantages to the conditions of functioning of Ukrainian and foreign companies.

Method (methodology).  Basis of the theory of competitive advantage managementhas been formed under the influence of the works of foreign scientists.  The study focuses on such issues as the theoretical and methodological basis of the competitive environment of the enterprise, the relationship between the factors of competitiveness and economic efficiency of enterprises, the development of effective tools for increasing competitiveness.

Results. The results of the analysis of scientific literature suggest that today there is no single approach to classification of enterprise competitive advantage and opportunities for achieving them.  Under these conditions, the management of competitive advantage is considered to be very important.
