Corporate conflicts and information asymmetry: causes and ways of overcoming

Abstract

Introduction.The appropriate level of information interaction between stakeholders is one of the preconditions for increasing the investment attractiveness of domestic business units. It requires problem solving of corporate conflicts and information asymmetry. In the course of the study the main reasons and ways to overcome conflicts and corporate information asymmetry are considered. The major interests of participants of corporate conflicts are detrmined. Their analysis is carried out. The appropriate classification of these interests, as a basis for the requirements to accounting and analytical support of information requests, is worked out.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to investigate the main causes of conflicts and corporate information asymmetry and to suggest ways of their minimizing and overcoming.

The method (methodology).The general scientific and special methods of scientific knowledge have been used in this investigation.

Results. Ways of overcoming conflicts and corporate information asymmetries have been proposed. It should be done due to the defining and assessing of information needs of main stakeholders that have a high impact on successful activity and possibility to manipulate the figures concerning economic activity of enterprises.
