Approaches to formation of the economic policy of industrial enterprises development in Ukraine

Abstract

Purpose. The aims to systematize the problems of the industrial enterprises functioning in Ukraine on the basis of analysis of the main tendencies of their development and statistical reporting, as well as conclusions of scientific and expert environments.

Methodology. The scientific theoretical and applied investigations of the leading Ukrainian scientists concerning development of the national industry have become the theoretical and methodological basis of the conducted research. The following methods have been used in this study: the method of theoretical generalization and comparison, method of statistical analysis, method of structural and logical analysis, system method.

Results. The key problems that impede the effective development of industrial enterprises of different areas have been considered. A special emphasis has been made on the level of industrial products in the total volume of the Ukrainian economy, the number of enterprises that carried out innovation activities and the structure of the national industry on the basis of the volume of industrial products, which was sold. Recommendations on the main directions of the state economic policy concerning industrial enterprises, priorities of structural changes, their intellectual and innovative development and its investment support have been offered.
