Building an optimization model of the demand for fish products in Crimea
Abstract
Main factors influencing the dynamics of demand for fish products are defined. A sample of basic statistical data to determine the parameters of the demand equation is done. Calculations using the least squares method, which allowed to determine the parameters of the equation that most accurately describes the demand are performed. A model of the demand for fish products in the Crimea is worked out. The intensity of the influence of each factor included in the model on the effective rate is determined. A correlation analysis between the individual factors model and effective sign is conducted. The degree of variation in demand from those included in the model parameters is estimated. We consider the elasticity of demand parameters such as price, fish production, imports, income for each year of the investigated period as well as for the whole period in general.
