The development of productivity improvement measures of coal mining enterprises
Abstract
The importance of the coal mining industry for the economy of Ukraine results in the sector’s increasing potential and necessity of solving issues with focusing on the productivity decrease. The dynamics of coal exploitation and productivity in Ukraine have been presented. Coal mining industry of Ukraine has been characterized with emphasizing on its current state. The importance of coal mining industry for the economy of the country has been underlined. The urgent problems of coal mining industry development and the ways to solve them have been defined. The factors affecting the productivity growth of enterprises and their evaluation by rank correlation method have been determined. Measures improving the productivity of the enterprises of Ukrainian coal mining industry resulted from factors analysis have been suggested.
