The analysis of physical persons’ deposits in banks of Ukraine

Abstract


It has been proposed the assessment of influence of deposit operations with physical persons on stability and the cost intensity of formation of the resource base of Ukrainian banks. The structural analysis of the deposit portfolio of banks on attraction terms and groups of banks is carried out. The leading banks on increasing of physical persons’ deposit portfolio are revealed. The quality of physical persons’ deposits is analyzed by the method of coefficients. The dynamics of interest rates on deposits by the type of currency is determined in order to assess the cost of this resource. The evaluation of the interest rates level and the amount of deposit programs, offered by domestic banks to physical persons on types of programmes, is carried out with the help of the horizontal and vertical analysis. The estimation of current state of physical persons’ deposit market is given according to the results of the analyses and the main tendencies of its further development are defined.
