Forming of categorical apparatus in defining different types of food products

Abstract


Introduction. IntheconditionsofincreasingintegrationofnationaleconomyofUkraineintotheworldone, the developmentoftheoreticalandmethodologicalapproachesandrecommendationstoeffectiveformingofoptimalcategoricalapparatus in the sphere of food products is oneofthemostimportantamong theurgentproblemsin Ukraine. Itwillhelptodefinedifferenttypesofmodernfoodproducts, whichconsiderate modern tendencies in the development of food additives market.  

Theaim. The main objective of the article is to create a generalized classification of modern types of food products and provide definitions to each type and provide their further classification in case any food additives are added to product.

Results. The requirements, which are now imposed on all food products, such as food security and usefulness to consumers' health; quality, in accordance with approved standards; customer satisfaction with properties of the product are analyzed and summarized in the article. They are the foundation for further analysis and creation of a modern, clear and understandable classification of modern food products not only for scientists, but also for consumers.

The definitions, which are given in this classification covers not only the issue of ambiguity of using of the terms, but also provides an opportunity for further research and improvement of the past with the addition of special features using different types of food additives.

Conclusion. The considered categories will allow firstlyto eliminate uncertainty of usageof the existing everyday terms  that are considered by consumers assynonyms, but it does not coincide with the reality. Secondly, they allow to prevent the indecent manufacturers to usenon-acquaintances for their own issues and on the other hand to raise the cultural level of food consumption among the population. Thirdly, they will allow to understand clearly what products are products of the "future" and therefore what the producersshould orient for. Division of food additives, as proposed in the article, suggests the future development of the industry with the introduction of new types of food additives,particularly those of  organic origin.
