Abstract
Transnational corporations next to separate states, international organizations and regional integrated grouping are determined to become the main subject of geo-economics at the end of the ХХ century and at the beginning of the ХХІ century in the conditions of reformatting the world geo-economic space into multi-polar one. The analysis of TNC components shows the role of these companies in the production and world product exchange, the distribution and redistribution of resources and the world income. The access to the natural resources abroad, market expansion, production efficiency increase, company economic security are distinguished among the main motives dominating at different stages of transnational corporations. TNC emergence is proved to be one of the main geo-economic transformations of the ХХІ century. The place and role change of developing countries in the world economy owing to the dissemination activities of branches and subsidiaries on the territories of recipient countries, as well as the active development of their own TNC is substantiated. The most influential factors of the role transformation of the countries with developing markets in the modern geo-economic area such as foreign direct investment and the number of transnational corporations are distinguished.
