Abstract
Introduction. The paper analyzes the traditional indicators of company potential evaluation. The conclusions about their drawbacks are defined.
Purpose. Reasonable choice of index of aggregate potential of the company, which is appropriate to use when resultative approach to capacity assessment. To achieve this goal requirements for index of enterprise aggregate capacity have been formulated. The special feature of the concept "potential enterprise" is the fact that it describes the concept of an enterprisein dynamics (company potential - is, on the one hand, the result of the company, on the other hand - the preconditions of its future results), then theresultative indicator of company total capacity should characterize potential (future) activity results, which at the same time serve its future resources. The desired parameter should give general characteristic of the potential activity results of the enterprise as a whole. The analysis of various indicators of the company has been conducted.
Result. It has been proved that indicator of its economic capital should be used as resultative indicator of company aggregate capacity. This indicator is generally describes the company activity result, which is a precondition of its future development. Then the set of maximum indicators of the value of its economic capital is the estimation of the total potential of the company. It is shown that the choice of indicator of economic capital as generale characteristic of company potential does not mean that the concept of "potential" duplicate the concept of "capital." Value of economic capital is a characteristic of the company total potential in the long run, ie it describes the strategic potential of the company. At the same time, assessment of operational and tactical levels of capacity and assessment of resource and functional components of the company potential (production, marketing, finance, innovation) requires the use of an integrated system of various indicators.
