Uncertainty as a property of environment of industrial enterprises functioning
Abstract
This paper explores the uncertainty as an integral characteristic of environment of enterprises.functioning Due to the fact that it is caused by the process of human activity and the nature of perception, methods of transmission and processing of information, it is classified as the uncertainty. Its precondition is intentional or unintentional distortion of information by the individual (employee), institutional uncertainty, technological and organizational ones. It has been defined the fact of the impact of uncertainty on the scope of environmental conditions to guarantee economic security of enterprises, which is manifested in the existence of challenges, risks and threats. To enable the process of maintaining a stable level of economic security of enterprises, as well as prevention / neutralization of the risks / threats it has been detailed a structure of the process of maintaining a stable level of economic security, taking into account the impact of risks and threats stick approach. It has been established that efficiency of management activity as for the minimization of the impact of risks and threats is determined by the risk-impact threat level of possible losses and the level of economic security of industrial enterprises. This dependence is graphically represented. To maintain a stable level of economic security of industrial enterprises that indicates a high level of performance, it should be noted that low risk and low threat are the only valid ones. Under such conditions, managers can make decisions that will support the desired value of performance indicators. In the case of higher values of the level of threat and risk, the process of decision-making becomes more complicated, which can lead to negative effects of and reducing the economic security of the entity. The separation of range of economic security into three zones is the result of our investigation. Zone 1 is characterized by a low level of risk (threat) that does not interfere with the existing level of support for the economic security of industrial enterprises. In zone 2 the level of risk (threat) is higher, which leads to the need to develop a set of measures for their minimization. Zone 3 is the most appropriate one to use the methods of crisis management, because there can be loss of property or cease of the activity ofthe industrial enterprise.
