Analysis of international agreements of social directions of Ukraine

Abstract


Introduction. Ukraine as an integral part of the international community has to keep to the main economic and social development standards. Due to compliance with the key provisions of international agreements which have been concluded by countries in different periods of their stabilization, the most attention is paid to social development and social protection mechanisms that will improve the standard of living of people.

Purpose. The article is devoted to the analysis of the main international agreements of Ukraine, which will facilitate economic and social development in the context of Association Agreement with the.

Method (methodology). The main scientific methods of the research are as the following: a systematic approach (while systematizing the main aspects of the agreements which have been concluded between Ukraine and international organizations), the method of comparison, synthesis and analysis (during the study of the dynamics of appropriations which can be provided by the EU to other member states of the EU), economic and statistical method (for the definition of the basic values of social standards in Ukraine), and abstract-logical method (for identifying the key issues and areas of improvement of financial policy in the social sphere).

Results. The article outlines the main social priorities in the implementation of key commitments which are identified by some international agreements of Ukraine. Poverty is considered as an objective category that is characteristic for any society. We have studied the ways of its overcoming that are proposed by considered international agreements. It has been analyzed the importance of social standards used by UNDP for international comparison of social development of any country and of Ukraine. The disadvantages which are inherent for cooperative agreements that adversely affect the level of social security not only in Ukraine but also in other European countries are characterized.

Conclusions. It has been determined that, despite the importance of international agreements, the government and society of each country are responsible for raising of social standards. Main ways of implementation of social and economic policies that will improve the living standards of Ukraine and bring it closer to the international level have been proposed.
