Theoretical basis of motivation research of investment subjects in human capital

Abstract


The article is devoted to research of motivation of potential investors, which may act as employees, businesses and the government regarding investments in the creation, development and human capital accumulation. On the basis of the analysis of the scientific economic literature the main stages of the formation of motives of the subjects’ activities are defined, that is, emergence of requirement and understanding of need of its satisfaction; evaluation of the of a situation, circumstances (identification possibilities of satisfaction of needs); representation by the subject desired benefits (results); on the basis of the stages it should be made a specific purpose and decision concerning next actions. It is assumed that due to the same method it can be formed the motivation of economic agents regarding investment in the accumulation and development of human capital. It is established that the motivation plays an important role for decision making by the potential investor on implementation of investments into the human capital. It should be noted that the motivation of the subject causes level of efficiency of such investments. Thus, each of the specified subjects of economy at implementation of investments into the human capital is guided by their own requirements, interests and the purposes that induce them to the corresponding actions. Thus, the enterprises want to satisfy their economic interests, while workers and the state, except economic results, are interested in receiving social effects from implementation of such investments.
