Activity of entities on the market of antiques in Ukraine as an object of economic analysis

Abstract

Introduction. The prospect of Ukraine's membership in the European Union foresees the adjustment of the current economic system to common standards. One of the elements which is typical for developed countries is the existence of a transparent and efficient market of antiques to preserve national cultural values and the possibility of broad public access to them. Providing such parameters of the market in Ukraine is possible in that case if we use the economic analysis which can help to create an effective information base that will serve to make investment decisions as for the appropriateness of investment  in antiques.

Method (methodology). The general approach for the determination of the content and structure of work is based on the method of system analysis. In order to summarize we have used the methods of analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, abstraction and grouping.

Results. It has been determined that the activities of companies in the market of antiques which belongs to those operating under asymmetric information is different. The article reviews the content of these features which should be considered when organizing and conducting economic analysis of the entities in order to provide Ukrainian people with the information about national cultural priorities. One of the most modern and popular in the world means of buying and selling antiques using Internet auctions is considered in the article.
