Consideration of some theoretical questions of human potential
Abstract
In a competitive environment, including the labor market (significant layoffs, forced dismissal, bankruptcy), qualification of employees should be constantly growing. High qualification becomes an important tool in the competition of both the companies and professionals in the labor market.
In this situation, the staff that is affected by changes and is responsible for decision-making must demonstrate the ability to manage uncertainty – the hallmark of the times we live in. At present, workers of most domestic enterprises lack fundamental motivation and this necessitates the study of human resource strategies and human development.
Saving old technology industrial type with high labor intensity leads to multifaceted negative consequences in terms of human development. Adverse conditions and modes of work negatively affect the performance, facilitate rapid physical deterioration of human capital. As a result, motivation to work reduces, share of workers who do not seek stability of employment (strong links with a company) increases, and thus they are not focused on professional development.
In these conditions, system of training, retraining and career counseling of personnel should be an important infrastructure unit of labor market that realizes the functions of forming workers competitiveness in transition to a market economy, promoting good balance in demand and supply of labor and, finally, – contributes to the effective realization of active employment policy
Clarification of the Definition of key terms of the theory of human development are clarified, its basic components and areas of development and improvement of potential management are considered.
It has been defined the objective need for further development of theoretical and methodological grounds, applied principles of formation of effective systems of human potential business.
Innovation and structural changes in the company provide not only a choice of some form of reorganization (transformation of legal form or transformation of the organizational structure), but as a pivotal elements of this process – reforming of property relations, modernization of technical-technological base of an enterprise, forming complex of motivational mechanism to ensure productive employment of staff.
