Financial and economic background of formation of market capitalization of public joint stock company of Ukraine

Abstract

The article explains the essence of the financial and economic prerequisites for building a market capitalization of public companies in Ukraine. The requirements are considered for passing the listing on the "Ukrainian Stock Exchange". The spectrum - point analysis of the financial and economic condition of the twenty public companies has been held, these companies are classified and displayed in groups of integrated indicators. The article displays the results of a detailed spectrum - point analysis of the financial conditions of the Open Joint Stock Company "Kryukov Wagon Works."  The relationship of market capitalization of public joint stock company and its financial and economic conditions are considered and substantiated. This article considers the identified factors of micro, meso, macro levels, the regulation of which can improve the financial and economic situation and increase the market capitalization of public companies. The necessity of additional functions – the custodian functions implementation in the public companies in order to increase their market capitalization, to attract investors, to improve the financial and economic indicators is confirmed.
