Formation of economic security system of manufacturing enterprise

Abstract

Introduction. In today's unstable market conditions successful development and operation of any business entity are largely dependent on a reliable, qualitative and tsubstantial system of economic security.

Purpose. The aim of the article is the develop theoretical postulates, methodological and practical recommendations concerning the formation of the system of economic security of manufacturing enterprises.

Method (methodology). General scientific and special methods have been used in this investigation. They are as the following: analysis and synthesis are used to study the concept of economic security; coefficient method is used to assess the current level of economic security.

Results. Analysis of the definitions of economic security has been made. Definition of "system of economic security" has been substantiated and its components have been described. Current level of economic security of production enterprises has been calculated. Evaluation of the state of the enterprise security has been done in accordance with the scale worked out by prof. S. Dovbnya. Approbation of the proposed approach has resulted in identification of the  priority areas in order to raise the level of economic security.
