Evolutionary principles of development of electronic commerce
Abstract
Introduction. The essence and characteristics of the evolutionary development of e-commerce are considered in the article. The main stages of evolution of e-commerce B2C are determined. The advantages and disadvantages of each stage are described. The basic trends of e-commerce development in the world are analysed. Recommendations as for the stimulation of the development of e-commerce in Ukraine are given. The object of study is the enterprise of e-business.
Objective. The aim is to analyze the evolution of e-commerce, to research scientists’ points of view as for the determination of the nature of trends and preconditions for the development of electronic commerce.
Method (methodology). The paper uses the methods of logical analysis for determination of the historical foundations of e-commerce in the world and in some regions. It will allow to identify common trends of its development and extrapolate them to the business realities of Ukrainian enterprises; method of synthesis which is used for determination of the main drawbacks of e-commerce, which form from the transfer of the company activity from the field of real trade into the sphere of e-commerce; graphic and tabular methods which are used to hover current research results.
Results. The result of the work is the identification of the patterns and causal relationships of development of e-commerce. The sphere of application of research results is the practical activity of enterprises of e-economy.
