The banking activity on corporate bond market
Abstract
The article is devoted to the researches of the essence of corporate bond market, the trends of the Ukrainian bond market, and the place of the commercial banks on the corporate bond market. The influence of the corporate bond market on the banking activity in Ukraine is analyzed. The attention is focused on the problems of development of the corporate bond market, and the problems of the bank corporate bond emissions.
The essence of the term «corporate bond», and in particular the characteristics of the bank corporate bond are investigated. The specific features of banking activity can explain the feature of the bank bonds. When investing the resources in the bank bonds, the investing resources may continue to stay on the capital market.
The reputation effect should be defined as the background of the corporate bond emissions. The reputation effect becomes especially actual, when bank emits the euro bonds.
The trends of the structure elements of the capital market are compared to measure the influence of the corporate bond market on the Ukrainian economy. The trends of the bank emissions are analyzed. The dependence between the quantity of the emissions, and the state of economic system is analyzed.
