Features of formation and use of intellectual potential

Abstract

Introduction. Improvement of management of intellectual potential development is very actual for the national economy and its businesses which are in the early stage of formation and usage of the intellectual assets. The suspense of separate conceptual and practical challenges in the area of formation and usage of the national intellectual potential and carrying on intellectual activity have determined the research area. Modern approaches and aspects of intellectual potential formation and usage are analysed. The key factors of impact on intellectual potential system of the national economy are defined.

Purpose. The goal of research is the development of mechanism for intellectual potential formation and usage in the national economy for further improving management of intellectual potential development. The search of  new ways of improvement of effectiveness of process of national economy intellectual potential and intellectual capital management by development of theory and practical recommendations concerning the notion, content, structure, constitutive elements of intellectual potential and impact factors has become very urgent nowadays. Taking into account the goal, the nature of current views on intellectual potential and intellectual capital in the national economy is defined. The theory of intellectual potential structure development and formation is explained. The possibilities of its modelling for the purpose of evaluation of degree of expenses impact on national economy intellectual potential formation and expected result of intellectual assets usage are determined. Approaches concerning grounding of strategic direction of growth of national economy intellectual potential are suggested.

Result. On the basis of research and practice the modern approaches have been analysed. The aspects of intellectual potential formation and its usage in the national economy have been studied. The models of intellectual potential formation and usage are presented. The main directions of intellectual potential development in national economy are worked out. The perspectives of the further scientific research in the area of intellectual potential formation of national economy relate to the practical implementation of the social and economic policy of state as for the  nation intellectual potential saving and development, providing high motivation of people concerning intellectual activity development.
