Abstract

Introduction. Current statement of landscaping branches is weakly developed and needs additional researches for searching directions of development of greenery system, lighting, roads and sanitary purification. Regions and cities of Ukraine strive to create high qualitative level of dwelling in urbanized environment, therefore studying issues of data systemizing in the domain of greenery and their visualization is necessary and of great importance.

Purpose is to investigate opportunities of use of business analytics tools for regional analysis.

Method. Theory and practice of graphical method, approaches to use of neural networks methodology for Kohonen maps creating, comparative analysis under forming conclusions for data visualization results according to achieved have been studied. The modern methods for mining massive and multidimensional data of greenery system have been used. The maps have been created with the help of software products.

Results. Use of business analytics tools for regional analysis of greenery sphere indicators has been considered in the article. Kohonen maps for separate indicators and integral indicator of greenery sphere development have been built. It has been revealed what regions of Ukraine are among the leading ones for the most of key indicators. Analysis of indicators deviation dealt with the maps has been conducted. It allows to see disproportions in the development of the greenery sphere of regions, as well as primary clusterization for initial indicators. It has been proposed to use Kohonen maps for creation of a systemized catalogue of maps that can be used for substantiation of managerial decisions by local authorities.

List of Kohonen maps can be the base of cartographic material of the greenery system that is almost fully not provided currently with the systemized data. This research can stimulate the transfer of greenery sphere enterprises and local authorities towards modern information systems of information processing. It is also necessary to conduct total collecting of reliable information about statement of all the spheres of landscaping in order to develop strategic documents of territories development in Ukraine.
