Essence financial intermediation at the present stage of economic development of Ukraine

Abstract


Introduction. Nowadays a key element in the process of redistribution of capital is remained by the bank crediting. It comes forward as an inalienable constituent of development of economic relations and envisages keeping balance between present in society temporally free money and volumes of resources.

The financial intermediation carries out the most influence on the dynamics of GDP, volumes of the realized commodities and services, cost-of-living-indexes, national currency exchange rate, and so on. In comparison to influence, that other than bank institutions subjects of financial activity carry out, the bank crediting substantially prevails in all aspects.

Improvement of financial intermediation and its permanent  development remains  one of  the basic ways for  Ukraine to exit from the crisis state. Recent reduction  by the banks of the activity in the field of crediting, as a result of world economic crisis and internal political crisis, rocked the economy of our state and notably influenced the indexes credit portfolio of the Ukrainian banks,  dynamics of value and the structure of which leaves much to be desired.

Purpose. The aim is to eliminate the problems of effective redistribution of financial resources in the economy and development  of approaches that will assist balance of mechanisms of financial intermediation in Ukraine.

Method (methodology). The tasks are solved by means of methods of estimation and analysis of risks and efficiency of financing, estimation of financial economic performance, model of optimal structure of credit portfolio, statistical method indicators.

Results. To improve financial intermediation activities in Ukraine should: 1) to develop advanced legislation that would allow FIs to develop efficient financial market; 2) need to create favorable conditions for the development of financial mediation; 3) you must create such mechanisms of financial intermediaries, yaks would increase confidence in the financial market.
