Financial aspects of development of insurance of tourist risks

Abstract

The author considers basic types of insurance of the risks, which are connected with the tourist activity, and the tariff policy of insurers that serve this direction. The ways for perfection of financial mechanism while providing insurance services in the tourism industry are worked out.

Among the problems that influence formation of favourable development of tourist industry there is a provision of insurance services at the European level.

The cost of the offered service plays an important role for the national tourist while choosing the insurer. A cost of insurance servise is a calculated value. During the realization of insurance, the latter provides to the insurer the completing of double task: how at minimum tariffs that would be accessible to the wide circle of insures (in our case – tourists), it becomes possible to provide considerable volume of insurance responsibility. If a tariff rate is calculated correctly, then it can be provided both financial firmness of insurance operations ( the equilibrium of profits and charges became) and easy, from the financial point of view, payment for an insurance service for a client.
