Advantages of Carpathian region in tourist activity of Ukraine

Abstract


Introduction. The development of tourism is one of the the important ways of economic development of the country. It can increase budget revenues and create new jobs. It has been carried out the analysis of the assessment of the financial situation of tour operators and travel agents of Carpathian region with the halp of the proposed system of indicators.

Aim of the article is to determine the benefits of tourism in the Carpathian region and to improve the analysis of the subjects of tourism. Analysis of tour operators and travel agents is necessary for the effective management of tourism activity in terms of working with accounting information. This information can be used by the users to make decisions.

The method (methodology). On the basis of observation and statistical and economic research methods it has been carried out the analysis of tourism enterprises of Carpathian region. The tendencies and forecast of the results tour operator activities are revealed. It can be done on the basis of additive modeling taking into account seasonality.

The results of research. The advantages of Carpathian region comparing to the other regions of Ukraine are defined. Suggestions that will improve process of control of the main subjects of tourist activity are included. Recommendations as for the analysis of the financial state of travel companies on the basis of five subsystems of  indicators  are worked out. The forecasting of financial statement with additive modeling taking into account the seasonality is shown.
