The mechanisms of transformation of regional information and transport infrastructure of grain-processing facilities

Abstract

Introduction. One of the key theoretical and methodological and applied problems of modern economic science is the problem of formation and development of the information environment. Globalization, innovation and information technology have led to the formation of a global information space, which accelerates adaptation of business entities to changes in the grain market. The launching of new, modern forms of management and information systems of enterprises of  storage and processing of grain is very actual now. It could facilitate their integrated development. That is possible through the introduction of innovative approaches to process management, which are the concept and methodology of information logistics.

Purpose. The aim of the article is to study and develop theoretical positions, methodological approaches and scientific recommendations on the formulation and implementation of a unified information portal of enterprises of storage and processing of grain.

Method (methodology). The study has used modern general scientific and special methods.

Results. The researchhas allowed to determine the need to study the operation and regulation of regional markets.It is caused by the rapid transition to a developed economic relations and requires in-depth analysis and fundamental patterns of regional markets and market infrastructure. It is proposed to consider management as logistics function, which is based on a systems approach and covers all activities that relate to the development of a particular policy area. It has been determined the structure of information flows which are specific to enterprises of  storage and processing of grain. It has been developed the electronic document management of process of cargo flows at «Illichivsk Grain Terminal". It will speed up the exchange of data and maximize the operational planning of the enterprise. The causes of internal information threats of grain-processing industry enterprises are analyzed and summarized.
