Information-communication support assessment ofproduction management at agricultural enterprises

Abstract

Introduction. Efficiency of production management is a direct function of effectiveness of the use of information resources and quality of the information-communication support system of managerial processes, which defines urgency and practical importance of corresponding researches in order to justify and implement efficient up-to-date technologies in management, especially in the management of agricultural production.

The purpose. The purpose is to definemajor tendencies of the use of information-communication technologies in the production management at Ukrainian agricultural enterprises.

Method (methodology). Methodological foundation of the research is dialectical method of learning and system approach to studying economic phenomena. As part of the study, methods of system analysis, grouping, detailing and method of synthesis are used. Questionnaire data and investigation data of the agricultural enterprises of Cherkasy region are the information base of the research.

Results. Organization of information-communication support of production management in agricultural enterprises of Cherkasy region is estimated. Methods, mathematical and programming support, used in operational control of production at agricultural enterprises, as well as the methods and means of collecting, accumulating and transferring information for managerial decision-making, are analyzed.
