Methodical approaches for enterprise flexibility evaluation in a volatile market environment

Abstract

In the article the known methodological approaches to the companies flexibility evaluation are defined according to the certain criteria. On their basis five major groups are formed. Taking into consideration the absence of established approaches to the assessment and management of enterprises flexibility and with the aim to form  peculiar concept of enterprise flexibility management, we have selected a wide range of techniques that can be used in the field of scientific research. It has been done on the basis of the synthesis of monographs and background information. It has been worked out the interpretation of the essence of companies flexibility management, which unlike the established one, is to define this administration as purposeful preventive effect on the growth of the market value of the company in terms of changes. This interpretation involves the transformation of business process through the mechanisms of their own identity, self-development and integrativity of all elements of flexibility with the use of the portfolio of innovative management technologies. The aim is to identify the characteristics of modern concepts of evaluation and management of companiesflexibility. As a result we have suggested a hypothesis of formation of system of enterprise flexible management that involves the use of an interdisciplinary approach and orientation of control system by the enterprise flexibility to implement the chosen business model and increase the market value of the company. The difference of this approach is that we have prooved the possibilities and feasibility of construction of new and existing competitive advantages in focusing on the issue of companies flexibility management.
